佩雷拉：在曼联时我最喜欢的教练是索帅，他教导我要加强防守

注：佩雷拉刚出道时是一名传统的“10号位”球员，很少参与防守，这限制了他的出场时间。

佩雷拉说：“在曼联时我最喜欢的教练是索尔斯克亚，索尔斯克亚到球队后诉我，我必须更加注意防守，传统的10号不可能在没有防守的情况下比赛、不能只是站在那里等着接球，所以我开始强化这方面的意识并改变。”

“胡安-马塔对我的帮助也很大，当我到曼联一线队的时候，马塔和我踢同样的位置，我们总是在交流，（马塔也是传统的10号位球员），他说按老习惯踢球越来越难，你必须要有改变。"
